I purchased When I Close My Eyes… for my 20 month old grandson. I never imagined he would love this book so much! The story is adorable and the illustrations are so vivid! He enjoys the pictures very much as many of them are familiar to him. This book will grow with a child from looking at the pictures, to understanding the text, to reading it by him/herself. Marvelous!!

We purchased this book for our daughter before her first birthday. At that time, she loved the illustrations and the bright colors throughout. She is now three years old, and enjoys the story, the rhythm of the rhymes, and pointing out the many different things she recognizes in the book. She has memorized her favorite silly parts from the book. I am confident that this book will be one of the firsts that she actually reads, too!

When I close my eyes is the most beautifully illustrated I have ever read. My 5 yr old daughter 1st read this book on her own when she was 4 yr old and we have been reading it almost every night since. Imagination is SO important!

We LOVE “When I Close My Eyes”!! It is a wonderful book for young readers! Our children ages 10yr,6yr and 2years really enjoy this book and read it just about every night!! We even bought a copy for my sons Kindergarten class so other children can enjoy it as well! The story is great, the pictures are fabulous and it so full of fun and imagination 🙂 I hope you enjoy it as much as we do!

I bought this book for my niece and love reading it to her. She’s loves the illustrations and coming up with her own imaginary things as we read the different parts. It’s a unique book unlike any other she has. I would definitely recommend it.
